Amba Press is an independent Australian educational publisher. We publish practical, research informed books for teachers, school leaders and the wider education community. We accept manuscripts and proposals all year round.
What we publish
We’re looking for books that make a real difference in classrooms and schools. Our authors include practising teachers, school leaders, academics, psychologists, education consultants and thought leaders across Australia and New Zealand. What to send us
There’s no formal submission form. Email us at hello@ambapress.com.au with:
- a short introduction to yourself and your background
- an overview of your book and who it’s for
- a table of contents or chapter outline
- a sample chapter or your full manuscript, if you have it
What happens next
Our publisher, Alicia Cohen, reads every submission personally and will reply to let you know whether your book is right for our list. If it is, we’ll be in touch to talk about next steps.
