Sue Chandler has spent more than three decades working in and alongside schools as a teacher, counsellor, pastoral and strategic leader, helping educators see what sits beneath behaviour, policy, and culture. Her approach is compassionate and candid, grounded in evidence, neuroscience, and the lived experience of teachers and students – she stays in the mess long enough to understand it and helps others find a way through. Sue holds that relationships are not the 'soft' side of education but its most demanding and transformative work, and that lasting change is relational before it is procedural. She now works with educators across Australia through her consultancy, Transformative Schools, shaping school cultures where connection, accountability, and relational care are everyday practice.
