Maria Giordano is an educator and school principal whose career has spanned kindergarten, primary, secondary and specialist settings, as well as roles as a university lecturer and curriculum leader. She currently serves as Principal of Merri-bek Primary School in Melbourne, where her work centres on student wellbeing, belonging and inclusive school culture. A VPA Board member and recipient of the VPA Study Award in 2020, Maria is guided by a simple but deeply held belief: every child and every adult deserves to feel seen, heard and valued.
