Dr Phil Cummins is an internationally recognised educator, researcher and thought leader with over three decades of experience. As Managing Partner of a School for tomorrow. and founder of CIRCLE Education, he leads the world's largest research program into character education. An Associate Professor at Alphacrucis University College and co-host of the Game Changers podcast, Phil teaches sustainable leadership at Oxford University's Smith School. His work focusses on helping people connect their purpose to practice, advocating for education that develops character, competency, and wellness. He has authored Game Changers: Leading Today's Learning For Tomorrow's World and numerous education articles. Phil is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and the Australian Council for Educational Leaders, and an Honorary Senior Fellow of the University of Melbourne.
David Atkinson is Headteacher of Dr Challoner's Grammar School in Buckinghamshire, a selective boys' school he has led for nearly a decade. A geographer who graduated from Oxford University, David has spent his entire career at Challoner's, moving from teacher and coach through to senior leadership. A recipient of the Farmington Trust Headteacher's Scholarship, his research focuses on character, leadership and the power of positive relationships in schools. He has collaborated with Professor Phil Cummins and CIRCLE Education on longitudinal research into the impact of boys' schooling on the lives and values of its graduates.
