Celebrating Dr William DeJean's book, A New Way Forward for Schools

What an incredible evening at Double Bay Library on Wednesday, 28 May! We're delighted to share that 32 passionate educators, leaders and book enthusiasts gathered to celebrate the launch of Dr William DeJean's latest publication.

An Evening of Connection and Insight

The atmosphere was buzzing with meaningful conversations about education, leadership and the challenges facing schools today. Guests mingled over refreshments and light snacks in what looked to be a perfectly intimate gathering.

Dr William DeJean's presence looked both inspiring and approachable as he shared insights from his 25 years in education and his journey from award-winning high school teacher to international education consultant. His passion for helping schools cut through the noise and focus on what truly matters – making learning stick for everyone – was clearly evident throughout the evening.

A Timely Message for Education

The book couldn't come at a more crucial time. As Dr William DeJean eloquently explains, schools are indeed "drowning in a plethora of latest strategies, compliance measures, and endless data demands". His new publication offers something different – not another addition to already overflowing plates, but a streamlined system that helps educators focus on their core mission.

What resonates most with readers is Dr William DeJean's practical approach. As he emphasises, "I don't just show you what to do – I show you how to do it". This promise of actionable guidance rather than theoretical concepts clearly strikes a chord with principals, instructional coaches, and leadership team members.
